Negurin is a character featured in the works of Repicheep - Toa of Irony.
Biography[]
Negurin is a Menirun and was a member of the Menirun Resistance. In her early days, she spent most of her time doing simple repairs to weapons and vehicles, until the resistance began using their back-enginneered Vehle portals. She showed an amazing understanding for the underlying mechanics within the portals and was transferred to the MERAH, where she began working on them. Because her home was in Diagirr, she frequently visited Rhenton's shop on her way to the MERAH. The pair became good friends, though Negurin failed to realize that Rhenton wished for it to be more than that.
Negurin first came into contact with the Toa Tedra the day after their failed attempt at freeing Cedrak from the Pyramid Penitentiary. Over the next few days, she and Toa Tivari spent a lot of time together, having similar interests, and when Rhenton went missing from the MERAH, she helped to search for him. When they failed to find him, she and the Toa Tedra joined the outgoing resistance brigades and were then caught up in the battle that followed. By daylight, the battle had been won, but King Yuniro managed to take Negurin hostage. When this was discovered, Toa Onric sent Toa Lestra, Toa Tsonclad, and Toa Tivari to save her, not knowing that Yuniro had planned for just such an event. In the end, all four resistance fighters were saved by Rhenton, and shortly thereafter, Rhenton told Negurin how he felt about her. In response, she told him that, while she was not in love with him, she was willing to try.
Personality[]
Negurin is extremely smart, but a bit absent-minded. And though she is quite amicable, when she is concentrating on a single task, it can be very hard to get her attention.
Since the battle at King Yuniro's palace, she and Rhenton have been in a steady relationship, and she is growing increasingly fond of him.
Powers and Abilities[]
As a Menirun, Negurin has near photographic memory, remarkable reflexes, and a natural immunity to Vorzhic venom. She is also extremely gifted in many areas of mechanics, being one of the few beings in existence who understands how the Vehle's Way-Gates work.
